Vicente Matallana is the director of the New Art Foundation (NAF), a pioneering institution in the production, exhibition and preservation of technological and digital art. Since 2013, NAF has been an international benchmark in connecting art, science and technology, and it leads sustainability and digital transition initiatives. He also directs the New Art Centre (NAC) in Reus, inaugurated in October 2025: 3,000 m² featuring specialised storage facilities, laboratories, workshops, residencies and educational programmes unique in Europe, conceived as an ecosystem for R&D, active conservation and mediation. Founder of LaAgencia (1998), he has developed projects for Museo Reina Sofía, the Spanish Ministry of Science and Technology, Fundación Telefónica, Ars Electronica and ISEA2022. He served as project director at ArtFutura (2008–2018) and co-director of Kunsthal Aarhus (2012–2013, with Joasia Krysa). In 2006, he promoted the ARCO-BEEP Award, the origin of NAF.
